Chief Reimbursement and Government Relations Officer, Concentra
Greg Gilbert is the Chief Reimbursement and Governmental Affairs Officer for Concentra managing three distinct business disciplines: governmental relations, reimbursement and contracting/credentialing.
He is directly involved in legislative initiatives in various states as they relate to workers’ compensation rules and laws. He has participated in numerous public presentations to workers’ compensation boards, commissions, and legislative committees with respect to proposed changes to laws, rules, and medical fee structures.
He currently serves on both the Maryland and Georgia Medical Advisory Committees, whose mandates, among other duties, are to update, maintain, or create medical fee schedules in workers’ compensation. He is current Chair of the Georgia Medical Advisory Sub-Committee on Formulary and Treatment Guidelines. In addition, he has worked directly with workers’ compensation regulators on fee schedule initiatives in Texas, Oklahoma, and most recently in Colorado and Arizona.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions from Texas State University and Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. He is a Certified Patient Account Manager through the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM).
